They Defied the Storm for Cars and Coffee

posted in: Meets | 0

Despite threats of rain diehard car guys and gals filled the Ala Moana Cars and Coffee on Sunday morning, March 5th. Participation topped 100 vehicles of all makes, eras and genres.

There were Porsches-a-plently, as expected since the Porsche Club of Hawaii sponsored the day’s event. High end exotics gave the crowd lots of eye candy. On the other end of the spectrum a good number of old school and classic American and Japanese cars represented themselves well.

The next Cars and Coffee Hawaii event will bring us back to the Ala Moana Center on April 30, 2017.

Until next time… for the defiant among us, here’s a throwback to a time not too long ago. A great car tune to have.

Here’s a mesmerizing look at Cars and Coffee Kapahulu from above.

Josherrino brought his aerial drone and recorded the April 24 meetup from directly above. The parking space lines, open roof slats and low angle shadows creates a unique perspective of the activity below.
